Review:

We have had a wide variety of paddlers surf our Evolution and it seems to suit all levels of ability from beginner through to advanced. It has plenty of leg room and and will float weight up to 110 kg but also seems small enough for the smaller paddlers to be able to throw it around on the wave with ease making sections and tricks more achievable to all paddlers.

It is easy to paddle and is very forgiving when things get tough.

It has been said that the Evolution design has taken surf kayaking to another level with its speed and technical ability and making the toughest of tricks seem a lot easier.

The Magic Model is one of the most sophisticated longboards ever designed. Originally built in 1981, the magic model was years ahead of its time and has become the prototype of the modern longboard. The Original Magic Model has been tested and improved for over twenty five years and today its performance in the longboard arena is unmatched.

The Magic Model is a great nose riding board, yet it is still an unbelievable all around performance longboard.

The Original Magic is unique in that it is recommended for both beginner surfers as well as advanced surfers, it works well in small surf and giant surf. The combination of stability, maneuverability and speed make the magic model ride easy yet exciting.

The Magic Model is designed with a concave nose flowing to the middle of the board that transitions into double concave hulls extending to the tail with a moderate "V". Rails are hard from the nose to the tail to maintain responsiveness in all conditions. Despite this though, they don't catch like most other hard rail boards. This is due to the special bottom curve and beveled rails.

2010 marks the Original Magic Models 26th anniversary. It is one of the all time best selling board simply because it rides like magic.

All boards are glassed with a 2 x 6oz deck and 1 x 6oz bottom with a patch on the fin area. The boards are then given a gloss polished finish and they come standard with a 7" centre fin on the boards up to 9'0" and a 8" Walden Centre fin on the larger models, all come with FCS Walden M Series Glassflex side fins.
