Since the early 60's a Yater surfboard has been synonymous with quality and performance. Owning a Yater meant riding the very finest shape combined with legendary craftsmanship.
These prestigious boards didn't come easy though - often limited to a select few or long wait. Reynolds and Lauran Yater are the consummate craftsmen, continually searching for the best possible way to produce their designs. A journey that started decades ago with Rennie's involvement with Hobie and urethane foams continues today with Surftech.
The new Yater Advance Tech is light, responsive and available in classic or contemporary designs. The legendary performance of a Yater manufactured in Surftech's TUFLITE construction.

One of the incredible things about Donald Takayama is his sense of an era. He captures the 50's and 60's in his retro line of long boards. Contemporary long boards are covered with such boards as the DT-2 and the Beach Break models, with all the progressive boards that excel in between. Donald has his thruster short boards, but what about classic 70's style surfing? This era has not been forgotten.
For those who like the long drawn out, full rail buried turns of the single fin short board days, when progressive short boarding began, there is the Flo Egg.
The Flo Egg is nothing like the traditional Egg Donald makes, this board is a volan cloth, single fin wonder.
A throw back to a time when short boards still had a log or two in their quiver, but who wanted to experience tighter, more in the pocket turns than their long boards allowed them.
This model ranges in size.
The ultimate mini noserider. Surf the board from the nose or turn the board on a dime. Probably one of the fastest mid-length boards out there now with controlled maneuverability.
Time has passed, but nothing has diminished the popularity of these NSP Funboards.
Following the recent introduction of new E2 construction methods, the NSPs are lighter than ever and feature a slightly harder rail.
New color combos across the range make these boards virtually impossible to overlook.
6'8" model is a worldwide favorite, the 6'8" is a versatile design that packs a punch. Experts will be surprised at the performance and balance, not too big, not too small. Intermediates will love the forgiving characteristics and surfability. A great choice as a first board for the groms or surfers looking for a full body design to put the fun back in their surfing.
7'2" model is a racy fun shape that caters to a wide range of riders. It’s a well-balanced board that surfs great regardless of your skill. Whether you are an experienced surfer looking for a fuller fun shape or a novice wanting a little more size for comfort, this design has become a favorite in the NSP range.
7'6" model is a nicely balanced, wonderfully styled tri-fin egg that performs like a gem. Perfect as a Longboard for groms or an all-around Funboard for intermediates, it continues to provide great fun for all who ride it. This is an ideal board for the recreational or weekend surfer who just wants to have fun.
7'10" model puts the 'fun' in Funboards. An all-around board that works equally well cruising the small stuff with lightweights or driving down the line with larger riders, don't let its racy looks fool you. While this hotrod is performance-oriented, it's forgiving enough for learning too. This design is a single board quiver for many NSP surfers.
