An extraordinary addition to the twinfin design stream. Dramatically polarised against the MR-style deep vee twinnies, these featured prominent concaves through the fins and a thinner nose outline, almost heralding the “nonose” boards that followed. In fact, TF and DH managed to create something very close to what would become known in the late 1990s as the state of the art in three-fin high performance shortboards. Great for skimming, swooping arcs broken with snaps and slides off the wings and swallows, and 360 foam bounces (a DH specialty). Influences: TF-Bertleman/Liddell, DH-Smithy/Ron Woodward.
