What Are They Made Of?
Standard gutter mount Rhino-Racks are made of the highest quality, Australian produced materials. The legs or ends supports are manufactured from glass reinforced nylon and are UV stabilised. The cross bars are extruded structural aluminium available in clear anodised or black powder-coated finishes. All other components are stainless steel or have anti-corrosive coatings.

How Much Can They Carry?
This figure varies considerably from vehicle to vehicle so always check the manufacturer's recommended specifications. In general, the capacity restriction is relative to the vehicle not the roof racks. In gutter mount form they are rated to 100kg per pair. Removable rack systems to suit gutterless type vehicles using the R
hino Mont Blanc (RMB) bars are usually rated to 75kg per pair. Track mount systems are rated to 100kg per pair.

What if My Vehicle Has No Rain Gutters?
This is most popular question and one which is easily answered. Rhino-Rack has a permanent track mounted system, Rhino Track Mount (RT) which allows great cross bar adjustability. For set positions, the Rhino Fixed Mount (RFM) may solve your needs when vehicle surface areas are limited in their mounting area and load positions. We have also incorporated Mont Blanc's extensive range of fully removable gutterless style end supports into our commercial range. So if your vehicle has no gutters it's no problem.
