Not everyone is an expert at stand up paddling

At Goodtime we know that not everyone is an expert and not everyone has a friend of a friend who knows a guy who's brother will teach you to stand up and surf on your new stand up paddle board.

Perhaps you aren't sure you even want to try stand up paddle boarding and just want to get out in the surf and get a taste for it before you look at seriously getting into it? Maybe your kids have seen it and want to give it a try but you don't want to buy a board until you know they like it.

That's not a problem. We run stand up paddle surfing lessons at Redcliffe on Sundays if the weather is suitable (we will notify you if your lesson needs to be postponed) and we provide all the gear you need for the lesson, including the use of one of our training stand up paddle boards. What about the kids? Can they learn too?

If you are after lessons for your kids, just let us know when you book. Stand up paddle boarding is suitable for both adults and kids from the age of 5 and up, it really is the definition of a truly versatile sport! Don't believe us? Ellie is one of our younger riders who gets out there with the best of them on her SUP!

Want to try it out a bit more on your own?

Already had a taste of stand up paddle surfing or had a lesson with us but want to give it a bit more of a try on your own before you get a board? At Goodtime we have a fleet of stand up paddle boards and paddles available for hire for as little as a day at a time, or up to a few weeks if you would like to take a paddle board on holidays with you to really try it out before you buy one.
